1.) KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. UNDERSTAND THE BUSINESS.

Before going into something, you have to understand it sufficiently. Research the concept of direct sales. Check out the various Multi-level marketing companies out there and their success rates, and from your findings reach a conclusion as to whether you and your sponsor match. A lot of people don’t succeed in network marketing, but that’s as a result of their personal shortcomings and not a problem with the business itself. 2.) YOU HAVE TO BE PROUD OF WHAT YOU ARE SELLING

It’s easy to be swept up by success stories and a lot of newbies get caught up by how much they might make that they don’t take much note of what they are being asked to sell. Pride and confidence in the product you’re selling are essential in order to convince people to buy from you. Also, before joining any company, make sure their compensation plan is in your favor.

The truth is, your product is not going to be wanted or appreciated by everyone. However, the product was created to satisfy a certain need, and there are people who have that need. If you want to succeed, after identifying your target market, you have to draw them in so they can become either customer, business builders or both. You can host product parties, extolling the virtues of the product and how beneficial it is. Increase interest in your product and watch the growth happen.

7.) TRY TO SPONSOR RATHER THAN RECRUIT

In MLM, the more successful your business builders are, the more successful you are. Some people consider this to be exploitation, but in truth, you are simply reaping the rewards of helping others attain success. In order for this to work, however, you have to see yourself as a leader. Train your business builders, help them understand the business, and praise them when they succeed. 10.) FOLLOW UP IS ESSENTIAL

Follow up, in network marketing, is very important. While you may not be able to make the sale at a present time, does not necessarily mean the client will remain uninterested even at a later date. Say while you’re selling your product, you observe an indication of likely future interest, try to get their number or ask if they would like to be included in your mailing list for future follow up.
